OneRecord
Cross-Platform Health Records App
Partnered with the healthcare startup to design and build a consumer-focused app enabling patients to consolidate their entire medical history in one place.
Led product strategy and UI/UX across iOS, Android, and web, including cross-platform React/React Native development.
Delivered a patient-centered experience that rivals industry solutions from Apple and Google, empowering users to take ownership of their health data.
Transitioned underlying technology to multiple B2B solutions for deployment within enterprise products.
One for the record, and two for your health. Tackling the complexities of the healthcare industry alongside meeting consumer demand for simplified data and delightful digital experiences is no small task, but when OneRecord asked me to help build the future of health record management, it was a task I couldn’t turn down.
The emerging space of consumer-friendly health record management is rapidly picking up pace with startups and established corporations alike racing to win the attention of consumers’ fingertips. With technology bridging the gap between complex medical systems and everyday consumer products, we’re now able to establish a broad health information landscape in an industry that’s growing faster than ever. OneRecord aims to be at the front of the pack when it comes to making patient health data retrieval and record management painless.
OneRecord is available to consumers as a free platform that allows them to directly connect all of their healthcare providers to one, simple location and build their full health history no matter where they received care. Users of the service can consolidate clinical data, compare records, and track labs and tests—finally taking ownership of their data.
For 5 years, I worked with OneRecord teams to produce an application that rivals projects from major industry players like Apple and Google, with ongoing strides in product advancement. Being a champion for the consumer has never been more exciting than working on a product so devoted to simplifying a complex industry.
This is data-driven design at its core. Ongoing front-end development support, interface design, and user experience enhancements are rapidly improving the product thanks to an agile approach that’s rooted in real user feedback and data. I believe in data-driven decisions that improve user experiences while staying true to the business goals of the product and, most importantly, the privacy of OneRecord’s users. That’s what made this project such a success. ◼️
To those I hope to build with next:
I’ve spent my career building, from designing as an individual contributor to leading startups through fundraising and product-market fit. Today, I’m seeking new opportunities to grow, collaborate, and learn from others while bringing my experience and commitment to creating impactful products. Let’s make something great together.
Respectfully,
Matt “Charpie” Charpentier
